The new Fuerteventura South Water Sports Resort (Estación Náutica Fuerteventura Sur) stands out especially for hosting the Natural Park of Jandía, which is entirely made up by spectacular landscapes. Its endless and lonely beaches of white sand and turquoise waters create moving sceneries that, with the help of our enviable weather, make this place a paradise for the practice of sports.
The variety of the activities carried out along its coastlines include outings to the sea, travelling across the sea bottom in a submarine or in the traditional style, jet ski riding to cut through the seas at high speed, kayaking, snorkelling or deep-sea fishing. However, our specialty is kite and windsurfing, which have given the island international acknowledgment as the Windsurf and Kiteboard World Cup is held every year on these beaches.
But our supply does not only involve the sea. You will also be able to improve your swing at our golf courses and to discover the most unique landscapes across the hiking paths on foot or on top of a camel, horse, motorbike or quad.
The island is also a place for a restful break. After a long day full of activities, you can relax and find peace in our numerous spas, where you can also pamper yourself with one of the treatments they offer.
Every business taking part in the Fuerteventura South Water Sports Resort agrees that the most important thing is the customer care, since the experience lived on the island is the best promotion and future-proof of our destination.
Fuerteventura is an island of contrasts in all its aspects. A land of incomparable beauty. It was designated Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 2009. Located scarcely 97 km from the northeast African coast, Fuerteventura is the second biggest island of the Canaries and the oldest one. Its volcanic origin took place more than twenty million years ago. Its unique attractive lava fields and the brushstrokes of its natural parks, together with the golden tone of its dunes and the turquoise-blue of its beaches, turn the island into a dream place for the visitor.
It has more than 150 beaches that bathe the island, 340 km of white sand coastline and waters that invite to dive the 365 days of the year. We must add mild temperatures between 23 and 25 degrees all year round and more than 3000 hours of sunlight per year, which makes an idyllic destination for holidays out of this paradise island.
We offer a wide variety of water sports. Sport fishing, yacht charters, snorkelling, scuba diving, kitesurfing and windsurfing - surfing.
