At the Llanes Water Sports Resort, visitors can take part in water activities in a unique natural setting. They can enjoy the tides of the Bay of Biscay or contemplate the cliffs of the Protected Landscape of the Eastern Asturian Coast. The white limestone rocks feature numerous caves, water spouts and natural beaches. The snowy peaks of Picos de Europa National Park and the immense natural wall of the Sierra del Cuera rise up behind them.
In addition to water activities, the Llanes Water Sports Resort offers other leisure activities that round out a fantastic holiday programme for our visitors.
The town of Llanes is located in the east of the Principality of Asturias. In 1995, it was declared a Town of Tourism Excellence. In recent years, businesspeople and the local government have been working actively to ensure quality at all levels.
As a tourist destination, the area boasts many attractions: its proximity to Picos de Europa, the string of beaches and coves splashed along its coast, the beauty of its natural environment, and a wealth of historical and monumental heritage. It also boasts facilities such as the Eastern Asturias Museum of Ethnology and the Hall of the Sea and offers a rich and varied range of dining options featuring rock fish, shellfish and handcrafted local cheeses.
We offer a wide variety of water sports. Motor yacht charters, catamaran sailing, kayaking and sailing.
