Thanks to its location, the port of Mahon has been an ideal shipping base since ancient times. Today, the port is consolidating itself as a leader in sailing charters, power-boat charters and boat rental.
For scuba divers, the remote caves on the south side of the island and the marine life of the Es Caragol reef and Isla del Aire are big draws. The sheltered port is an ideal starting point for boat trips from which visitors can enjoy the sight of coves, beaches and landscapes.
A variety of locations and options are available on the island in terms of accommodations, including hotels, flats and inns specialising in rural and inland tourism.
The Mahon Water Sports Resort serves the east end of the island. Activities start from the port of Mahon and from the waterfront of Mahon, Es Castell and Sant Lluís, which together make up a magnificent natural harbour about six kilometres long. White houses and ochre churches rise up out of the old quarter of Mahon, and the boats that cruise up and down the harbour are the best way to get to know the area. The easily accessible beaches are a guarantee that visitors will enjoy themselves.
The nearby S'Albufera d'Es Grau Natural Park was declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1993. This project is a commitment to economic development that is compatible with the conservation of nature.
We offer a wide variety of water sports. Sport fishing, yacht charters, motor yacht charters, catamaran sailing, parasailing, scuba diving, kayaking and sailing.
